Kirtland Rear Porch and Patio

Our client had a small rear deck and a brick paver patio. They wanted a larger deck with a roof to shield them from the sun and rain, but with the various roof angles other contractors they spoke to said it was a problem to make the new roof work… we solved that issue pretty easily. Plus, their brick paver patio was a constant maintenance issue. We designed a beautiful new deck with composite deck boards, a sloped roof/ceiling with 1×6 tongue and groove v-joint #2 ponderosa pine with 2x spruce applied faux joists installed on top of the wood ceiling, clear cedar wrapped beams and posts, metal railings, white Azek trim and a stamped concrete patio.

Here’s what our clients had to say: “We had our old patio and deck torn out and a new covered deck and stamped concrete patio put in. The initial design was our biggest concern, as we wanted to ensure it would aesthetically tie into the house. The design was great even with the limitations we had on size and height to tie into the existing roof structure. Overall it went very smoothly and quick, even with the labor shortages of the entire remodeling industry. Dever Design was very responsive and kept us informed throughout the project. We will definitely contact them for our next project. Highly recommended.”  Jim & Lisa C
