Eastlake House Remodel by Dever Design & Build

Longtime friends of Jack asked him to remodel their outdated kitchen, as well as remodel their existing bath. During our typical discovery portion of the design phase, we came to the conclusion to expand the kitchen into the adjacent dining room, as that space was under utilized most of the time. So, we removed a non-load bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room and added a large island that has plenty of space to gather around to entertain family and friends. Plus, we added a window seat next to the island for seating overflow, not to mention a space for their dogs to peek out the rear window! Plenty of cabinets were added for storage, like the full height bank of pantry cabinets, and some illuminated upper glass cabinets. The bath was in real trouble, so we decided to completely demo it and start new, but this time the tub was eliminated and a custom tiled shower installed with a rain shower installed at the ceiling and custom glass enclosure. Luxury vinyl flooring was installed throughout most of the first floor of the home, as well as painting too. All in All, It was a stunning transformation that Jack’s friends love. Here are some of the products that we installed: Homecrest Sedona painted cabinets with Berenson Advantage Plus hardware, 3cm granite in Black Mist leather finished countertops, Noble Willow (Lightning) luxury vinyl flooring installed for all rooms, Quest Gray 12×24 tiled shower walls installed vertically with 2×2 tiles on the ceiling and Riviera Icicle mosaic installed for the shower floor and waterfall feature, Elkay stainless steel double sink bowl and Moen Arbor faucet in the kitchen, American Standard toilet in the bath, and Moen Glyde and Gibson plumbing fixtures in the bath.
